• Conduct QSHE audits, prepare detailed reports and recommend improvements to enhance compliance
• Organise and deliver QSHE Inductions
• Identify and evaluate potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate risks
• Assist with the provision of QSHE, security and product safety awareness programmes to staff through various campaigns
• Deal with QSHE enquiries from internal and external sources
• Investigate incidents, accidents, safety concerns and near misses to establish root cause, implement corrective / preventative actions
• Collaborate with various departments to promote a culture of continual improvement and operational excellence.
• Undertake random spot checks across the Group
• Travel to group locations and customer sites in GB & Ireland as needed
Essential Criteria
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Experience working to/with ISO standards (ISO 9001,14001 & 45001)
• Working knowledge of current Health and Safety standards & legislation
Desirable Criteria
• NEBOSH Certificate, Environmental Health degree or equivalent.
• ISO internal auditor qualification
• Knowledge of BRC Global Standards or Food Safety Standards

Commercial Vehicle/Trailer Mechanic
Department: Workshop
Responsible to: Workshop Foreman / Workshop Supervisor
Shift Patterns available:
Day shift, Mon - Fri, 8am - 5.30pm
Nightshift, Mon - Thurs, 5pm - 5am
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

What are we looking for?
Woodside Logistics Group have an excellent opportunity for experienced Commercial Vehicle/Trailer Mechanics to join our team at our busy Ballynure depot.
The Person:
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a varied commercial vehicle fleet, including car transporters and tankers. We place great emphasis on maintaining quality equipment, delivering quality training and applying rigorous controls. We require a Commercial Vehicle/Trailer Mechanic who has the ability to work as part of a team, is confident in their abilities, is reliable and conscientious with a flexible attitude toward work.
The Role:
This role involves the servicing, general maintenance and PSV preparation on a range of commercial vehicles, trailers, transporters and tankers from our modern fleet.
Essential Criteria:
Level 3 NVQ qualified OR 3 years’ experience in a similar working environment.
Be able to demonstrate their ability to work flexibly and to a high standard.
Desirable Criteria:
Previous experience of working with a varied commercial vehicle fleet, including car transporters and tankers, is not essential but would be advantageous.
