Phoenix are recruiting for a Mobile Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineer to be based in and around Staffordshire. This is a permanent, full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive industry salary and high quality benefits package.

The primary purpose of the role is to carry out both planned and reactive maintenance on a variety of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Ventilation Equipment. Secondary to this is to carry out both planned and reactive maintenance on Mechanical and/or Electrical Building Services Engineering equipment (additional training will be provided where required).

We’re now expanding our team. As a Multi-Trades Operative, you will be responsible for performing a variety of trade-related tasks across different sites. The ideal candidate will be competent working at heights and possess experience in multiple trades, including building, carpentry, plastering, and minor plumbing. Experience with Solar PV systems is desirable but not essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out general building works, carpentry, plastering, and minor plumbing tasks.
  • Work competently and safely at heights when required.
  • Diagnose and repair defects across a range of trades.
  • Support installation and maintenance of heating and plumbing systems.
  • Assist in solar PV system installations (desirable but not essential).
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and clients.

Requirements

  • Ability to work at height safely and efficiently.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Solar PV experience is a plus but not mandatory.
