What is the opportunity?
As a Security Project Manager you will be responsible for helping drive Security Projects, as well as helping develop dashboards to visualize various datasets such as budget and project status.
Here is a breakdown:
● Manage large, complex projects and programs that typically focus on improving Omnissa’s security posture using bleeding-edge technology
● Develop multiple dashboards for offering real-time views into datasets such as; Budget, Project Status, Metrics, Business Reviews
● Support our Business Continuity and Enterprise Resiliency program by helping ensure annual table-tops are conducted, and improvements are made when and where applicable
● Support the leader of the team in coordinating larger events such as org-wide All Hands, annual budget planning, coordinate team communications, etc
What will you bring to Omnissa?
● Project/Program Management experience (either CAPM or PMI certification preferred)
● Information Security experience (any SSCP, CISSP, CISM, CCSP certifications preferred)
● A passion for learning and taking personal ownership of projects
● A strong knowledge in data visualization and automation tools (i.e. PowerBI, Flows, Forms, etc)

The Hiring Manager has been leading the team since it’s original inception at VMware, 12 years prior. They’re lucky to have a team comprised of relatively senior individuals with ample industry experience so typically take a hands-off approach and manage by exception more than overseeing day-to-day duties. With a small team of 3, however, they can prioritize removing roadblocks, enabling you to get the work done with minimal interruptions.
