What is the opportunity?: The Vice President, Head of Worldwide Partner Ecosystem Programs is responsible for the global partner ecosystem strategy, programs and operations across the Omnissa revenue-driving partnerships. This executive leader will report directly to the SVP & Chief Marketing Officer and will lead an organization of Channel strategy, operations, governance & compliance leaders and team members across strategic route-to-market development, go-to-market strategy, partner operations and support . The VP, Head of Worldwide Partner Ecosystem Programs partners closely with the Geo Sales and Technical Services organizations to drive sales outcomes while working across multiple business functions to define, plan and create value for and via the ecosystem.

Here’s more of at you'll be doing:

  • Lead the Partner strategy, programs, operations and support teams required to support the ecosystem of partnerships and health across our strategic Routes to market.
  • Partner closely with go-to-market sales across regions globally (Americas, EMEA, APAC and across Public Sector). Build and sustain excellent relationships at multiple levels internally and with partners.
  • Establish and align organizational objectives with actionable and sustainable measures.
  • Determine sales forecasts across partner routes and work cross functionally to drive target attainment; develop and monitor commercial tracking to improve deal registration, partner close rates, partner retention, and channel run rate
  • Identify the highest ROI opportunities within Omnissa’s channel; develop and guide the implementation of plans to invest in high performing partners to drive further growth.
  • Provide strategic guidance to sales teams on leveraging Omnissa’s channel ecosystem to deliver key business goals.
  • Identify and recruit new channel partners globally, ensuring they are effectively enabled to sell Omnissa’s software solutions
  • Lead Marketing alignment across partnerships with focus on access to markets, incentives and promotions design and leverage market development funds to support growth initiatives.
  • Position business requirements leveraging market trends and consultative engagements with partners to support operational enhancements and partner programs direction.
  • Drive product roadmap influence through collaborative Partner Advisory Councils, consistent market feedback and partner adoption assessments.
  • Establish Partner as a growth lever and identify proper partner investment strategy to meet and exceed growth expectations.
  • Sponsor and champion communications strategy across all partnerships.
  • Within 90 Days you will start to lead the evolution of Omnissa’s partner program and its various components across internal stakeholders and external partner community.
  • Additionally, you will build the strategy around the key partner success measures to support revenue and growth expectations as defined by the FY26 Annual Operating Plan.
  • By the end of your first 180 days you will determine Partner Ecosystem Strategy across multiple business functions within Omnissa and establish relationships with Geo sales functions and key partners critical to the success of the partner program.
  • By the end of the first year you will drive increased partner capabilities through outcome-based enablement across Omnissa solutions with a focus on adoption, managed and professional services across our Omnissa platform.
  • You will increase the channel sales engagement, experience, and ecosystem health across the strategic routes-to-market and be the face of the Omnissa Partner Ecosystem to external media influencers.

What will you bring to Omnissa?

  • Track record of building and leading teams that manage Partner Programs, Operations, Enablement for a growth-oriented, global SaaS business.
  • Prior partner sales experiences, including a demonstrated track record of growing key channel relationships will be highly valued.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills working in a matrix environment alongside partner sales, marketing, product management, finance, IT operations, and Geo Sales leaders.
  • Team builder and leader with a strong commitment towards org development, team management & mentoring in support of career growth
  • Experienced working with senior level management, and corporate staff executives to develop a strategy that is integrated across key stakeholders.
  • Ability to shape and present a strategic vision, ability to thinking critically based on data to drive execution and lead change.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide impactful knowledge exchange through mentoring, workshops, partner engagements and official training forums.
  • Motivated by the long term. Results driven, ensuring short-term goals are achieved that support long-term initiatives with a sense of urgency.

Renu Upadhyay is the SVP & Chief Marketing Officer for Omnissa. She is responsible for all aspects of marketing including the overall partner programs strategy and execution in support of Omnissa’s go-to-market strategy. With over 25years of experience and the last 8+ years in the Omnissa (formerly EUC division of VMware), she is very knowledgeable about the EUC business and is passionate about building high performing, highly collaborative teams that work in alignment towards shared business goals.
