We are seeking an experienced Channel Partner Corporate Counsel to support our channel business. The candidate we are seeking will have a deep understanding of company-channel relationships, covering all routes to market – distribution, resale, OEM, etc. This person will work directly with the Omnissa channel business teams, as well as other stakeholders within the Omnissa business. This person will collaborate, as needed, with colleagues on the Commercial Legal Team, as well as within the extended Omnissa Legal Team. The attorney will need to be able to understand and analyze key legal - as well as operational - issues and challenges, as well as stakeholder requirements, that impact the channel agreements, to support achieving Omnissa’s strategic goals and objectives.

Primary responsibilities:

• Primary legal support for worldwide channel partner programs with multiple routes to market, including distribution, reseller, managed service providers, OEM and technology alliances.

• Draft, review and negotiate various agreements with channel partners, in coordination with the Omnissa Partner team and other internal stakeholders as needed.

• As required, provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on all channel related matters, including interpretation of contract terms, addressing channel partner concerns, and resolution of disputes.

• Identify and drive new opportunities for scaling partner program support and automation.

What will you bring to Omnissa?

• Minimum eight (8) years of experience working as an attorney.

• Prefer significant experience negotiating, reviewing, and interpreting agreements with channel partners. United States-based in-house experience preferred but not required.

• The best candidates will have experience building channel partner programs and not just maintaining them.

• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills with the ability to communicate complex legal and commercial concepts clearly and concisely. Proficiency with American business English.

• Ability to identify and mitigate legal and business risks and provide practical solutions to complex issues to support Omnissa corporate strategies.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.

• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• Intellectual curiosity and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and tackle issues.

Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in any United States jurisdiction.
