What is the opportunity?

As Senior Data Product Manager, you will spearhead the execution of our internal data product strategy, leveraging advanced data analytics, data visualization, machine learning (ML) models, and generative AI (GenAI) to empower our internal teams with actionable insights and data-informed decision making.

Responsibilities:

• Product Strategy and Execution: Develop data roadmap for data products that aligns with our business objectives.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with internal stakeholders (Product Managers, GTM, Leaders), Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and Data Engineers to identify opportunities and turn data from an abstract concept into real data products.

• Metrics: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of data products, monitor performance, and identify areas for continuous improvement.

• Document Requirements: Identify requirements and build user stories.

• Data Visualizations: Design intuitive data visualizations and create mockups to enable agile development of data products.

• ML Models: Identify opportunities to leverage ML models and GenAI and work with data scientists to design, develop, and production-ize predictive and self-service analytics.

• Enablement: Build communication, training, and documentation to enable successful user adoption of our data products.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of data/analytics product management experience.

• Obsessed with data and analytics with a fail-fast, Agile mindset.

• Aptitude for data-informed decision making.

• Highly organized, analytical thinker with strong communication skills.

• Keen eye for user experience design.

• Solid experience working with internal stakeholders (Product teams, GTM) and Data teams (analysts, data scientists, data engineers)

• Excellent communication skills to building/delivering presentations.

• Technical knowledge and experience working with SQL and industry leading BI tools like Tableau or Power BI.

• Thorough knowledge and experience working with ML models and data science use cases.

• Experience with Jira, User stories, Sprint, Scrum, Roadmap planning.

• Ability to work and execute projects on both structured and unstructured data in a big data environment.

• Preferred – Gen AI experience.

• Preferred - Experience with Salesforce, Pendo, Gainsight.

• Preferred – Experience in Omnissa technologies, MDM, VDI, Citrix.

Location Type: Hybrid. This role offers a balanced arrangement, with the expectation of working 3 days a week in our local office and the flexibility to work from home for the remaining days. It is essential that you reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the office location for the in-office workdays.

This role reports to the Director of Data Operations (in Product organization) who is based in Bay Area, California. The development team is based in Bengaluru, Costa Rica, and US and is a tight-knit team. This product manager role will collaborate closely with all members of the development team.
