As Senior Global Employment Counsel, you will help the company navigate the complexities of global employment laws, while maintaining focus on achieving strategic business goals that drive our collective success. You will not only serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, HR, and other cross-functional stakeholders, but you also will play a critical role in shaping the company’s employment legal framework and future. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to think creatively, prioritize competing deliverables, and provide actionable, solutions-driven guidance in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Primary responsibilities include:
• Advising global HR professionals and business leaders on employment law matters, including performance management, workplace investigations, discipline, wage reporting, time tracking, leaves, employment agreements, accommodations, works councils, cross-border mobility, restructuring, benefits, retirement plans, and more.

• Reviewing and updating global HR policies, guidelines, rules, works agreements, processes, templates, and training materials, in alignment with business priorities and regulatory requirements. • Providing global employment law guidance related to due diligence and integration, while focusing on operational continuity.

• Developing and delivering training for cross-functional partners on employment law and litigation-related best practices and risk mitigation.

• Overseeing employment-related litigation and claims, working closely with external counsel as needed, with an emphasis on cost-effective and pragmatic strategies.

• International and litigation expertise: proven experience managing employment law matters and legal claims across multiple jurisdictions, including Europe, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America.

Location: Remote, United States 

Type: REMOTE OR HYBRID (location dependent)

Travel Expectations: 5% Education: JD from an accredited law school; active membership in at least one US state bar.
Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.
Experience: Minimum of 8 years of employment law experience, including both US and global employment law matters, with a minimum of 3 years in house.
