What is the opportunity?
As a Director, Global Legal Services you will be responsible for the following:
• Draft, review and negotiate various agreements with channel partners, in coordination with the Omnissa Partner team and other internal stakeholders as needed.
• Provide advice and support to internal Omnissa teams with regard to channel partner requests for modification to Omnissa standard terms.
• As required, provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on channel contract-related matters, including interpretation of contract terms, addressing channel partner concerns, and resolution of disputes.
• Identify and drive new opportunities for scaling partner program support and automation.
What will you bring to Omnissa?
• Bachelor’s degree and related post-graduate work, or applicable experience.
• Minimum 15 years of experience negotiating, reviewing and interpreting agreements with channel partners, including for distribution and resale activities. In-house legal department experience is required.
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills with the ability to communicate complex contractual and commercial concepts clearly and concisely.
• Ability to identify and mitigate legal and business risks and provide practical solutions to complex issues to support Omnissa corporate strategies.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Intellectual curiosity and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and tackle issues.
