What is the opportunity?:
Member of technical staff role will be responsible to design, implement, and optimize our infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, enabling efficient and scalable deployment of our service.
Here is a breakdown:
• 5 to 9 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering, with a strong focus on cloud and containerization
• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent technical training.
• Experience with DevOps role with Cloud based infrastructure
• Experience with various AWS services
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with Terraform
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery practices and tools.
• Experience in deploying microservices in AWS environment using Kubernetes
• Experience working on live enterprise-grade scale services in the cloud.
• Security and compliance consciousness
• Experience with architecting, designing reusable, high-performing and scalable systems.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Knowledge around various technologies like Kafka, Helm, Databases, Python, Git, Jenkins, Docker
What will you bring to Omnissa?
• Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure using Terraform
• Deploy, monitor, and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes.
• Enhance Kubernetes clusters for better performance, scalability, and resilience.
• Providing thoughtful code reviews for other members of the team
• Work with the Dev team and product management to review and refine production readiness requirements
• A high degree of “ownership” - the ability to determine what needs to be done and make it happen.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate and enhance deployment processes using tools like Github Actions, Jenkins
• Writing Python/PowerShell code for process automation
• Participating in design and architecture reviews
• Periodically covering on-call rotations and then helping to take the experience and learnings from those rotations and develop further improvements to our processes and infrastructure.
• Take initiatives and identify new areas of improvement for products, tools, and process.
• Championing a culture of high ownership, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence
Location: Bengaluru
Location Type: HYBRID. This role offers a balanced arrangement, with the expectation of working 3 days a week in our local office and the flexibility to work from home for the remaining days. It is essential that you reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the office location for the in-office workdays.
Travel Expectations: 10% of travel Domestic/International only if business demands.
