What is the primary need, technical challenge, and/or problem you will be responsible for?
Workspace ONE Intelligence is the data platform for End-user computing (EUC). It enables data visualization, analytics, workflows, machine learning, and AI capabilities on data from all EUC products and our partners. Currently, we process over 1 PB of data every month. This continues to increase as we expand the data sources and solutions built on Workspace ONE Intelligence. As part of the team, you will provide technical leadership by driving the design and development of major architecture components. You will own engineering initiatives and champion a culture of high ownership, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence. You will coach, manage, and mentor junior engineers.

What are the performance goals over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?
• You establish a reputation of leadership within the team and demonstrate influence across the organization.
• You gain a comprehensive understanding of the Intelligence product, becoming a subject matter expert in the key components of our data pipeline and platform.
• You collaborate with internal and external teams including product management, the UI team, to define and deliver the required solutions.
• You collaborate with other teams so that they can leverage the capabilities of Workspace ONE Intelligence. What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?
• You provide mentorship, direction, and guidance to your team members, supporting their professional growth and development.
• You steer the team in fostering a collaborative and supportive workplace environment.
• You engage in all phases of software development, including coding.
• You offer technical leadership and guidance for the team with code reviews, design reviews, and technical insights. • You advocate for a culture of high ownership, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence.
• You obliterate obstacles for your team, ensuring seamless collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

What is the leadership like for this role? What is the structure and culture of the team like?
The Workspace ONE Intelligence team in Bangalore (23 engineers) is managed by Asha Sebastian. A veteran of EUC, Asha built the team in Bangalore taking ownership of many significant projects. Over the next year, we plan to grow significantly as we spin out of Broadcom.
