What is the opportunity?

As a Senior Associate Counsel, you will support a unique blend of cybersecurity legal compliance and all aspects of ethics and compliance matters. The professional we are seeking will have a good understanding of the cybersecurity laws in the key jurisdictions where Omnissa operates and will play a critical part in ensuring our organization’s compliance with cybersecurity regulations, industry standards, and best practices relating to the security. In addition, the attorney in this role will work closely with Omnissa’s fast-paced business to support all aspects of Omnissa’s Ethics & Compliance Program, Omnissa’s internal policies and procedures, support compliance culture, and ensure that Omnissa employees conduct business in an ethical manner. A successful candidate will be ready to jump into action, working closely with the wider Legal team and strategic business partners to provide practical, strategic legal guidance and come up with creative solutions to complex challenges.

Here is a breakdown:

Cybersecurity

- Enhance and oversee cybersecurity compliance programs.

- Support the creation or amendment of relevant cybersecurity policies and procedures.

- Partner closely with Omnissa’s Information Security team to provide legal guidance on a variety of cyber legal issues.

- Provide legal advice and support with respect to existing and new global and state cybersecurity laws and regulations.

- Provide support for incident management and advise on related breach notifications.

- Provide advice with respect to security provisions in contracts with customers and vendors.

- Support other legal related aspects of the company’s cybersecurity program as needed.

Ethics & Compliance


 - Support all aspects of the development, implementation and maintenance of our organization’s compliance program, and all related policies and procedures, including those related to ethics compliance, anti-bribery, anti-corruption, conflicts of interest, business courtesies as well as other applicable compliance matters.

- Develop and oversee company-wide training programs. This includes reviewing and updating training content and coordinating delivery. • Support drafting and deployment of ethics and compliance communications, procedures, and guidance materials.

- Conduct internal investigations into potential violations of our Business Conduct Guidelines and policies. Analyze investigation data to identify trends and issues.

- Assist in drafting and updating compliance-related agreements and provide support to Commercial Legal and Procurement teams on compliance provisions.

- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify compliance issues and develop strategies to mitigate risks. Monitor and audit the effectiveness of the compliance program.

What will you bring to Omnissa?
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in any United States jurisdiction.

- 5-6 years of experience working as an attorney, with meaningful cybersecurity and ethics & compliance experience.

- Ability to identify and mitigate legal and business risks and provide practical solutions to complex issues to support Omnissa corporate strategies.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.

- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

- Experience with Navex Ethics Point and Navex training module a plus.
