What is the opportunity?:

The PR Manager role is a high-impact opportunity to build brand awareness for a global technology company. This role will drive technology PR strategy across the product portfolio, leveraging both earned and owned media, including press, editorial and social media. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Communications, this role will have input to executive level strategic decisions.

We are looking for candidates who are passionate about technology storytelling -- from new innovations and solutions to customer stories and industry thought leadership. The ideal candidate is a strong collaborator and has experience working across product, marketing, agency, partner and customer teams to identify news and editorial opportunities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Own core PR program: PRs, media, calendar, planning, agency management and reporting
  • Drive news strategy and identifying new opportunities
  • Manage PR agency effectively against plans and deadlines
  • Establish framework and process for Partner PR
  • Manage executive interviews and other PR moments: briefing books, scheduling, interview preparation and recommend executive social content, if applicable.
  • Collaborate with agency on media outreach/pitching, bylines and reporting
  • Lead key messaging initiatives, working across PR, social, blog, events
  • Help define how company leaders engage with PR to advance their business goals.

Required Skills / Experiences: 

  • 8+ years experience in technology/business PR
  • Agency experience is a plus • Media relations skills
  • Strong writing, editing and presentation skills
  • Problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Agency and contractor management experience
  • Adaptability to fast-paced environments.
