Role Overview: As an Employee Experience Program Manager, you will be responsible for building and strengthening the overall Omnissa culture. You will be responsible for driving the employee site experience and engagement initiatives at our brand-new Headquarters office in Mountain View, California. You will also partner with key business functional leaders – such as the Engineering and Operations executives – to establish and maintain a strong culture and develop and execute on a communication strategy for their organizations.

What we are looking for:

  • Create and maintain local multi-functional Site Council Develop and execute a calendar of site activities, including social hours, AMAs, executive site visits, learning sessions, coffee chats, networking sessions, year-end gathering, Family Day, community service, etc.
  • Organize and manage in-person onboarding sessions in coordination with the Onboarding team.
  • Execute quarterly global culture activation (quarterly initiatives that provide employees an opportunity to engage and reinforce our values, which will be run across all sites).
  • Execute Innovation Weeks on-site consisting of Hackathons and Tech Fairs, etc. Analyze results of employee engagement survey for the site – and develop and execute plans to address areas of concern.
  • Measure participation levels and feedback to initiatives, to be included in global employee experience metrics.
  • Align with and share best practices with employee experience & culture leads from all sites. « Partner with key stakeholders from the Engineering and Operations functions to understand their priorities and develop communications and engagement plans to support them.
  • Some examples include: Draft, edit, set-up, and send communications on behalf of the functional leaders; including written and multimedia messages.
  • Partner with the Omnissa corporate communications team to align internal and external communications as needed. Plan and execute regular all-staff meetings for the Engineering and Operations teams, in partnership with the functional executive admins.
  • Plan and execute engagement initiatives for the functional teams, including virtual team building activities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 year's experience in internal communications, program management and event management.
  • High degree of organizational skills (planning, coordinating, tracking) and comfortable working on time-sensitive projects.
  • Outstanding social and communications skills.
  • Understanding of communications channels, including multimedia; basic video editing skills.
  • High EQ with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Creative with a passion for event planning (in-person and Zoom events).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Experience with PowerPoint, Excel and/or other productivity and communications products (Cerkl, SharePoint, Confluence, Jira, etc). Self-starter with strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

What is the leadership like for this role? What is the structure and culture of the team like? This role will report to Tanya D’Silva, Senior Manager in the Employee Experience and Comms Team. Tanya is based in the Bay Area, California. She manages a variety of programs to support the global organization and executive leadership team. The Employee Experience and Comms team is led by Senior Director, Guadalupe Hugony, who is based in Florida, USA. The culture of the team is highly collaborative and open.
