What is the opportunity?
Workspace ONE is a digital workspace platform that enables the mobile, modern workforce. It securely delivers and manages any app on any device by integrating access control, application management, and multi-platform endpoint management.
Our team builds, deploys, and operates the AWS-based cloud service known as Workspace ONE Intelligence. Our goal is to transform the way customers interact with the digital workspace through analytics, machine learning, and AI. We are passionate about rapidly developing high-quality software and applying automation and software engineering best practices to everything we do.

Workspace ONE Intelligence is the data platform for End-user computing (EUC). It enables data visualization, analytics, workflows, machine learning, and AI capabilities on data from all EUC products and our partners.
Currently, we process over 1 PB of data every month. This continues to increase as we expand the data sources and solutions built on Workspace ONE Intelligence. As part of the team, you will provide technical leadership by driving the design and development of major architecture components. You will own engineering initiatives and champion a culture of high ownership, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence. You will coach, manage, and mentor junior engineers.
What will you bring to Omnissa?
- You develop a solid understanding of the Workspace ONE platform architecture
- You develop deep subject matter expertise in one or more areas of the platform (e.g., data ingest, storage, ML, workflows, APIs).
- You architect, design, and implement high-performing components of the platform.
- You establish a reputation of leadership within the team and demonstrate influence within your area of expertise.
- You collaborate with other teams so that they can leverage the capabilities of Workspace ONE Intelligence
- You design software, write code, assist with technology selection, and obliterate obstacles for your team.
- You support your peers with code reviews, design reviews, and technical insights.
- When the opportunity arises, you drive improvements in DevOps, Agile, and CI/CD processes that enable the team to work more efficiently. You support the team's on-call responsibilities and look for opportunities to make it more efficient.
- You drive API excellence with well-thought-out opinions on API design (e.g., API versioning, REST vs GraphQL, performance, and usability).

What is the leadership like for this role? What is the structure and culture of the team like?
This is a new team of 10-15 engineers that we are forming in Mexico. Initially, the team will report to Phil Krasko, Director of Engineering, who is based in California. We also have teams in Palo Alto, Atlanta, and Beijing. Team culture is based on open discussion and debate that enables continuous learning and improvement. As part of the team, you'll have the opportunity to work with experienced, passionate, and fun-loving software engineers. Join us!
