responsible for maintaining daily stock accuracy and ensuring efficient stock operations within the warehouse or production area. This includes scanning, counting, and reporting stock, supporting the Stock Supervisor and Production Admin, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and food safety regulations. The role also involves identifying issues such as old stock, misspicks, and overpacks, and reporting them to the relevant supervisors
Responsibilities
• Conduct daily stock checks and ensure all pallets are scanned to the correct locations.
• Use handheld devices to scan stock, ensuring it matches the count and location in the operational area, and report discrepancies or issues.
• Assist the Stock Controller and Supervisor in locating missing pallets and addressing any stock-related issues.
• Identification of Stock Issues: Recognize and report overpacked or misspicked stock, including damaged goods.
• Use of MHE Equipment: Operate MHE equipment, such as scissor lifts, to check stock in racking locations when required.
• Adhere to all Health and Safety policies and procedures, including wearing the correct PPE and following safe operating practices.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations within the warehouse or production area.
• Report any damage to handheld scanning devices or equipment used in stock operations.
• Accurately record stock movements within the warehouse, ensuring all stock is properly logged in and out of the system.
• Identify opportunities for improving stock management processes, such as better ways to handle, store, or organise stock to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Assist in preparing daily, weekly, or monthly stock reports, ensuring accurate information on stock levels, discrepancies, and actions taken.
• Help investigate discrepancies in stock records, including lost stock or mismatches, to identify causes and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments (e.g., Production, Shipping, and Receiving) to ensure stock is in the correct place and available for production or order fulfillment.
• Identify overpacked or miss picked fruit and alert the Stock Controller

Qualifications
• Experience in stock management or warehouse operations is preferred.
• Ability to operate MHE equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and report stock discrepancies.
• Knowledge of Health, Safety, and Food Safety standards.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
• Good communication skills for reporting issues to supervisors and other team members.
