Job Title: Carer Support Adviser (South) Lincs
Salary: £23,250 (FTE)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37 Hours per week
Location: This is a hybrid role which involves community working in the Spalding/Grantham/Bourne area of Lincolnshire and some home working. You must be able to support carers face to face in the South Holland, South Kesteven, and North Kesteven areas of Lincolnshire.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Carer Support Adviser to join our team in South Lincolnshire.
As a Carer Support Adviser, you will be part of our Operational Team, helping to improve the lives of carers through your work. This role will include, managing conversations with carers to identify need; writing statutory carers assessments on behalf of Lincolnshire County Council; providing information, advice, and wellbeing support; running wellbeing groups and pro-active identification of carers through partnership working.
To be successful you will have experience of working with adults either in a 1:1 or group setting, a working knowledge of health and social care particularly in relation to adults and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A high standard of written skills is needed in order to help the carer identify their support needs and to complete statutory assessments.
