Some jobs pay the bills. Some jobs change lives.
As a Senior Housing Support Worker at Connect Housing, you'll have the opportunity to make a lasting difference to young people aged 16-25 who need support, stability and someone who believes in their potential.
Every day, you'll help young people overcome challenges, build confidence, develop independence and take positive steps towards a brighter future. Whether it's helping someone secure education, manage a tenancy, improve their wellbeing or achieve a personal goal, your support can be life changing.
Hollinbank is a vibrant supported housing service providing accommodation and support to young people aged 16-25. We create a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment where young people can thrive, learn new skills and prepare for independent living.
Our approach is trauma-informed, person-centred and shaped by the voices of the young people we support. No two days are the same, and every day brings new opportunities to make a positive impact.
This is a role for someone who enjoys leading by example and supporting others to succeed.
Working alongside colleagues across our Kirklees services, you'll help lead the day-to-day running of the service while supporting both residents and staff to achieve the best possible outcomes.
You'll:
Few roles offer the chance to see the direct impact of your work every day. You'll build trusted relationships with young people and support them through some of the most important stages of their lives.
This isn't a standard Monday-to-Friday, 9 to 5 office job.
Our service operates across a flexible rota, including evenings and weekends, giving you greater variety and flexibility throughout the year. To help you plan life outside work, shifts are published up to 12 months in advance, allowing you to arrange holidays, family commitments and personal plans with confidence. Where possible, shift patterns can also be adjusted on request.
Many colleagues value having weekdays free and enjoying a varied working pattern that fits around life, rather than the other way around.
You'll be part of a supportive, friendly organisation where people genuinely look out for one another and share a common goal: improving lives.
We're keen to hear from people who have:
If you don't meet every requirement but believe you have the skills, values and potential to excel in the role, we'd still love to hear from you.
If you're looking for a rewarding role where you can help young people build brighter futures while developing your own career, we'd love to hear from you.
Apply today and be part of something that truly makes a difference.
