Connect Housing is looking for a Cleaning Operative to join our friendly and dedicated Estates Team. This is a varied and rewarding role where you’ll play an important part in helping to create clean, tidy and safe environments for our tenants, customers, and colleagues. You’ll work across our communal areas, offices, and void (untenanted) properties, delivering high standards of cleanliness and contributing to the positive experience of those living in and visiting our properties.

What you’ll be doing:

• Cleaning communal areas in residential properties

• Office cleaning (occasional)

• Deep/sparkle cleans in void properties

• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately

• Dusting, wiping down surfaces, skirting boards, and window sills

• Vacuuming and mopping floors

• Supporting the team to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.

What we’re looking for:

• Experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or a similar role

• A full driving licence – travel between sites is required

• A great team player with a positive attitude and attention to detail

• Someone who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of cleanliness in creating safe spaces
