Job Description

The Digital Content Manager will work to support the content and structure of Rapanui’s digital channels to maximise the global growth of the digital business. Working as part of the Digital Content team as the key person responsible for delivering and publishing all digital content. There will be a heavy focus on management of workload, communication with stakeholders and planning delivery of campaigns. To a lesser extent, they will be involved in the planning and creative stages of content.

Responsibilities

•Content Strategy Development: Assisting with the development and implementation of the digital content strategy.

•Website Content Management: Overseeing the content on Rapanui’s website, ensuring it is up-to-date, accurate, and reflects the brand's voice and messaging. This involves product names, product descriptions, landing page creation, and homepage/collection page copy.

•Content Planning and Scheduling: Inputting into the editorial calendar and schedule for digital content (Silver, Bronze) publication across different channels and platforms to ensure consistent and timely delivery.

•Content Optimization/Product Enrichment: optimising digital content for search engines (SEO) and user experience (UX). This includes keyword research, meta tags optimization, and ensuring content is mobile-friendly and accessible. Maintain & change product prices for launch, sale & promotions.

•Content Distribution: Managing the distribution of digital content across various online channels and platforms, including websites, social media and newsletters

•Social Media Management: Developing and executing social media content strategies across platforms.

•Content Creation and Editing: building and managing digital content, including articles, blog posts, videos, social media posts, and more. This may involve collaborating with content creators such as designers, and videographers.

•Analytics and Performance Tracking: Monitoring and analysing digital content performance using analytics tools to track key metrics such as website traffic, engagement, conversions, and ROI. Using insights to optimise content strategies and improve performance.

•Collaboration and Cross-Functional Communication: Collaborating with internal teams such as brand + marketing, Creative Services and Product to align digital content with overall business objectives and messaging.

•Continuous Learning and Innovation: Staying updated on digital marketing trends.

Qualifications

Required: A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field.

Experience

•3+ years or more of experience in digital content creation or a marketing role.

•Managing digital content across various platforms such as websites, social media, and email.

•Experience with content scheduling, publishing, and performance analysis and tracking.
