Job Description

This role will lead, grow, and innovate our portfolio of in-house brands, including Rapanui. In this role, you will take ownership of all aspects of brand development and performance, crafting strategies that blend creative vision with commercial acumen.

This is a pivotal role where you will define and execute the roadmap for our brands, ensuring alignment with our mission to drive sustainability and innovation in the fashion and technology industries.

Responsibilities

Brand Leadership and Strategy:

  • Develop and articulate a clear vision for each in-house brand, in collaboration with each brand team, ensuring alignment with company objectives and customer needs.
  • Create and manage brand strategies, including positioning, messaging, and growth plans, to enhance brand equity and market share.
  • Act as the brand ambassador, ensuring consistency in tone, messaging, and visual identity across all touchpoints.

Marketing Excellence:

  • Lead the creation and execution of data-driven, multi-channel marketing strategies, leveraging both traditional and digital platforms.
  • Drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention through innovative campaigns, partnerships, and storytelling.
  • Analyse campaign performance, identifying opportunities for optimization and scalability.

Commercial Management:

  • Take ownership of the P&L for all in-house brands, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded.
  • Collaborate with the product and supply chain teams to optimise product portfolios, pricing strategies, and inventory management.
  • Use market analysis, consumer insights, and competitor research to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Responsibility of E-commerce and general day to day retail trading.

Collaboration and Leadership:

  • Work cross-functionally with design, central marketing teams, operations, and sales teams to align brand strategies with broader business goals.
  • Inspire and lead a team of marketing and brand professionals, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Working within Own Brand function, but also cross functionally with a matrix reporting approach.
  • Act as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and external partners, including agencies, influencers, and media outlets.

Innovation and Growth:

  • Identify and evaluate opportunities for brand extensions, new product launches, and market expansion.
  • Stay ahead of trends in fashion, technology, and sustainability to ensure our brands remain relevant and competitive.
  • Leverage Teemill’s technological capabilities to deliver unique and impactful brand experiences.
Qualifications

2.1 or above Degree Qualification with a Business or Marketing

Experience
  • A proven track record in senior brand management or marketing leadership, ideally within fashion, retail, or consumer goods.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong financial literacy with experience managing budgets, P&L, and driving profitability.
  • Marketing Expertise: Deep understanding of marketing strategy, brand building, and customer engagement across multiple channels.
  • Passion for Sustainability: A genuine interest in environmental and social responsibility, aligning with our company mission.
  • Data-Driven: Comfortable with analytics and KPIs, using data to inform strategy and measure success.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, fostering collaboration and delivering results.
  • Innovation Mindset: A creative thinker who can balance big-picture vision with detailed execution.
