What is the opportunity?

As the Omnissa Accounting Project Manager will lead and manage accounting-related projects, ensuring they are planned, executed, and completed within set timelines and budgets. This role involves close collaboration with the entire accounting team and will be partnering directly with the accounting leads responsible for Record to Report, Procure to Pay, Accounts Receivable, Tax, External reporting, Revenue, and Compliance. The role will also partner with managing projects cross functionally, as needed. This position will report directly to the Corporate Controller and be responsible for:

• Accounting Close Cycle Management: Own the monthly and quarterly accounting close cycle and close calendar for the accounting organization.

• Communication and collaboration: Enable communication and collaboration across the accounting organization. • Project Management: Execute on projects and programs that are important to the success of the team; Track progress, evaluate performance, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders to maintain alignment and transparency.

• Deliverable Execution: Assist in preparation and coordination of deliverables as needed

• Budget Management: Assist with tracking internal budgets for the accounting organization.

• File Preparation & Coordination: Assistance with preparing schedules for period-end deliverables.

• Process Documentation: Support team with process documentation and workflows

What will you bring to Omnissa?

• BS/BA in Business, Accounting preferred.

• Four years of project management experience, preferred experience as an accounting project manager

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple short-term projects (4 weeks to 3 months)

• Required to have proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

• Preferred knowledge of Smart Sheets

• Demonstrated the ability to drive change and deliver results in a high-growth, dynamic, and fast-paced environment

• Preferred knowledge of US GAAP with an understanding of SOX and how to document process narratives and flows.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously

• Experience in a high growth, fast-paced startup; Impeccable organizational skills required.

• Strong writing, oral communication, analytical capabilities, and interpersonal skills
