Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Competitive Analyst to join our Compete and Technical Marketing team within the Product Management organization. This is a customer-facing role that requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of our competitors and their products including Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Microsoft Intune, JAMF and other UEM Product. You will play a pivotal role in driving our competitive strategy by delivering insightful analyses and directly engaging with clients and stakeholders.

What we are looking for:

  • Competitive Analysis: Conduct in-depth analyses of competitive products and market trends to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Provide actionable insights to the product management and marketing teams.
  • Customer Engagement: Act as a subject matter expert in SCCM, Intune, JAMF and other UEM Products during customer engagements. Present competitive insights and product differentiators to prospects and clients, effectively communicating our value proposition.
  • Travel and Presentation: Represent the company at industry conferences, customer meetings, and events. Travel frequently to engage with customers and partners, presenting technical solutions and competitive advantages.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product management, sales, marketing, and engineering teams to ensure alignment on competitive strategies and messaging. Contribute to the development of sales tools, collateral, and training materials.
  • Market Research: Stay up to date with industry developments, emerging technologies, and competitor activities. Leverage this knowledge to inform product roadmap and strategic decisions.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Create detailed reports, whitepapers, and presentations on competitive analysis findings. Communicate complex technical information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications:

  • Technical Expertise: Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with SCCM, Microsoft Intune, and JAMF. Familiarity with other end user computing solutions is a plus.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to deliver compelling presentations to diverse audiences.
  • Customer-Focused: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Travel: Willingness and ability to travel frequently, including international travel as needed.
  • Experience: 7+ years of relevant experience in competitive analysis, product management, or technical marketing in the software industry.
