Quality Engineer

Balfour Beatty VINCI is proud to be designing and building a 90KM stretch of the West Midlands section of HS2.

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Quality Engineer within the Quality Team.

This role will be based on site in Curzon Street, Birmingham.

The role aims to assist the Balfour Beatty Vinci joint venture, working on HS2 deliver a world class railway in accordance with customer and stakeholder requirements and commitments, including verification activities to demonstrate compliance. Also responsible to assist the co-ordination, submission, compliance and management of all assurance activities and the resolution of assurance related issues

Experience required

• Experience of Major Civil Engineering projects, preferably tunnelling, railways.

• Extensive experience of construction in the UK Nuclear, Railway and Highways sector

• Knowledge and experience of working to UK and international standards and codes of practice for the UK Nuclear, Railway and Highways sector.

• Welding Quality subject matter expertise and proven track record in BS EN 1090
