The Role Summary
Provide professional services to support and maintain our high profile projects, key long term clients & AVLM SLA customers. Providing technical support for hardware/software and to provide technical solutions for clients and internal team member queries. Supporting the programming, commissioning and testing of integrated audio, video, lighting & Media systems in the Broadcast, Leisure, Corporate and Entertainment industries. Working with colleagues and customers as necessary, pre and post completion of projects to ensure that solutions offered by d&b Solutions meet the needs and ongoing high standards expected by our project stakeholders.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Support AVLM system programming, commissioning & testing prior to project completion.
• Assist in the production of O&M documentation and end user guides.
• Support AVLM system programming, commissioning, testing & fault finding, post project completion as part of AVLM customer SLA agreements.
• Assist with audio, visual, lighting and media system set up and user training for internal/external stakeholders as required.
• Assist with projection, LED video wall alignment/calibration and testing as required.
• Ensure lessons learned and feedback from project wash up meetings are applied to future engineering & support solutions
• Remote support, fault diagnosis and rectification for AVLM SLA customers in line with contractual KPIs. • 2nd Line Onsite Technical support where necessary – general fault finding/fixing.
• Working closely with the commissioning, service and support team leaders and management team as part of continuous feedback and improvement.
• Providing support and/or assisting in the development, creation and future alteration of client user interfaces with d&b Solutions AVLM integrated systems.
• Assisting with the creation of user and technical support guides for clients
• Join/participate with a support/call out rota to periodically cover extended support hours, in line with our on-call policy.
• Provide support and attend site for pre-planned maintenance/support visits to include general system servicing, software/firmware upgrades, outstanding ticket resolution, and feeding back to the SLA Account Manager regarding recommended improvements and upgrades to AVLM systems as part of the d&b Solution Integration client SLA offering.
• Engage with suppliers and maintain relationships to assist with fault resolution.
Technical Skills
• Proven IT skills, including use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access applications and PowerPoint). Working knowledge of an internal e-mail system and electronic diary is essential.
• Proven experience and expertise in the role of an AVLM Field Engineer.
• Practical knowledge of programming, commissioning, testing, fault finding and use of audio, video, lighting & media systems. To include system integration, AV control systems and converged IP networks. • Proven experience and expertise in audio, visual, lighting & media software programming and commissioning
• Current product knowledge with a desire to keep abreast of new technologies and developments across the AVLM industry.
• An awareness and understanding of current legislation and regulations regarding AVLM system integration.
• Adhere to and demonstrate knowledge of Health and Safety matters in relation to work related tasks and ensure that all relevant Health and Safety guidelines are always adhered to
• A strong desire to ensure the commercial and technical growth of the department whilst ensuring standards and quality are always maintained and monitored to a high level
• Previous experience of real time render engines an advantage (Unreal Engine, Unity, Notch etc).
• Previous experience of Disguise/Pixera media servers an advantage.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose software and hardware issues.
• IT or AVLM events industry background an advantage.

Full enhanced disclosure and barring checks will be conducted.
Full Clean driving license required/desirable.
Work on site will be required. Long distance, International and countrywide travel with overnight stays are also likely.
