Aspect Capital is a leading systematic investment manager based in London.

Our Trading Support Team performs a crucial role, sitting alongside our Execution Trading team, working very closely with our broader Technology team. We are looking for a Technologist with an interest in supporting in-house and third-party trading tools and systems. We will help you build your career by ensuring you have access to mentoring and professional skills courses to develop your technical and soft skills.

Your role:

No two days are the same, you will:

• Ensure the stability of trading systems through proactive and reactive monitoring, resolving issues efficiently
• Provide technological support on our in-house and third-party trading tools
• Onboard new markets and new execution venues
• Assist traders with trade-related queries and issues
• Provide effective communication of critical market events to colleagues, stakeholders, and clients
• Work in shift patterns plus occasional on-call night support

Your skills & experience:

• 2-3 years of experience in a Front Office Trading Support environment understanding the trading life cycle
• Good working knowledge of the following:
  • Unix, SQL, Bash, Powershell, command shell
  • FIX protocol
  • Monitoring tools such as Opsgenie, Zenoss, Grafana
• Exposure to FxSpotStream, Bloomberg, Jira, Confluence
