We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Logistics Manager in the Bromford Tunnel team in Birmingham.
Role description:
- Vehicle Movements - Overview and co-ordination of all vehicle movements on the project.
- EMR Compliance - Ensuring the Undertakings and Assurances (U&A’s) and Environmental Minimum Requirements (EMR) for vehicle
- Supply Chain Compliance - Ensuring supply chain are adhering to approved construction routes, as per schedule 17 consents.
- Vehicle and Driver standards - Auditing and ensuring vehicle and driver compliance across the project.
- Management of site access - Managing vehicles at the site access, checking vehicle compliance and managing egress (cleanliness of vehicles / Load safety)
- Delivery Management - Ensuring timely delivery of all equipment, plant and materials using vehicle management system.
- Forecasting - Reporting of forecasts and all vehicle movements to HS2 via the vehicle management system.
- Transport of Plant and Equipment - Planning, managing and co-ordination of all plant moves on the project, working alongside the BBV plant team.
- Ensuring Consistency - Sharing Logistics related best practice and lessons learnt with the wider sub lot construction teams
Experience & skills required:
- CSCS Card
- Experience and skills of managing on site labour
- Full clean driving licence
- Computer literate (Excel/Word)
