Job description
To carry out servicing and repairs for our private customer base and assist with the retention and growth of this art of the business.
Responsibilities of the support engineer include control of the private contract(s) ensuring health, safety, environmental and quality compliance is maintained and company procedures and objectives are achieved.
Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8.00am - 16.45pm and Friday 8.00am to 16.30pm, with an on-call rota.
Salary £35,000 - £40,000 OTE
Responsibilities
- Assist the Private Contracts Manager in the continued growth and development of our private customers
- Act as first point of call for private work stream team within allocated region, including admin and engineers, for multi-visit work, grievances or complaints
- Will be required to complete 6/7 jobs per day, subject to supporting other engineers where required
- Research, troubleshoot, and resolve customer issues in an accurate and timely manner
- Ensure service/repair paperwork is returned and checked and any remedial works are completed
- Assist the Private Contracts Manager in achieving 100% on all service work/1st time fix on repairs
- Provide relief cover, if required, to attend weekly office meetings (performance to KPIs) and monthly contact meetings
- Provide on-call support as required within other scopes of the business
- Any other reasonable duties
Qualifications
Must have Domestic Gas ACS
OFTEC Oil desired but not essential, but must be prepared to undertake
Full clean driving licence
