Phoenix are recruiting for a Mobile Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineer to be based in and around Staffordshire. This is a permanent, full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive industry salary and high quality benefits package.

The primary purpose of the role is to carry out both planned and reactive maintenance on a variety of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Ventilation Equipment. Secondary to this is to carry out both planned and reactive maintenance on Mechanical and/or Electrical Building Services Engineering equipment (additional training will be provided where required).

• Ensure that reactive tasks throughout the site/region are completed and be proactive in highlighting areas where improvements can be made.
• Ensure that plant faults and defects are always swiftly maintained in a serviceable order.
• Ensure that all relevant paperwork/CAFM is completed regarding PPM, reactive and breakdown works and that it is passed without delay to the contract administrator.
• The position will require you to provide engineering support in emergency situations and to act as instructed by relevant regulations.

• Relevant NVQ Qualification - HVAC / Refrigeration / Air Conditioning.
• FGAS CAT 1 - C&G 2079-11.

• Experience in a similar role.
• Experience in working on : - AC Splits, VRV, VRF, FCU, AHU and Chillers.
• Good knowledge of fault finding and repair.
• Good general problem solving skills.
• Electrical fault finding / tracing experience (within the appliance).
• Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams and manuals.

Desirable: -

• Previous experience working with ASHP or other Renewable Technologies.
• Previous experience working with MVHR units.
• Gas / Plumbing experience or qualifications.
