Business Development Executive Full-time (office based) at our offices in Norwich with national and international travel. At Aquaterra Energy we specialise in providing engineering solutions and equipment to the global offshore energy industry – helping clients drive efficient and sustainable offshore operations from drilling and field development, to decommissioning, carbon capture and storage, renewable, and hydrogen projects. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Executive with a proven track record in a similar role in the Offshore Energy Industry. The successful candidate will take full ownership for generating leads and facilitating the sales pipeline throughout the Western Hemisphere in the areas of upstream Oil and Gas, CCS and Wind. The ability to work independently in a high-intensity environment, along with excellent IT and communication skills, is essential for this position. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Operate as a core generalist Business Development Executive to support Aquaterra Energy with target and existing client interfaces. • Generate leads and work closely with technical sales across the product and service portfolio. • Create leads, and facilitate the sales pipelines, across the different energy markets. • Take a leadership role managing market data, working with the Company’s Market experts to drive meaning and direction. • Work to appropriately qualify and log all leads that come into the Company’s CRM system. • Act as a core business development contact, identifying key customers and development/sales opportunities. • Engage with membership organisations and attend trade shows, conferences, sector events and client sites internationally. • Support the review and build of the sales toolkit, including brochures/PDFs, capability and experience references, proposal templates and information to produce an actionable sales plan. • Support and administer the Sales Meetings and contribute monthly data for both the sales meetings and the Board Reports • Establish strong relationships with engineering and procurement staff of our key and strategic clients. • Participate in internal strategy meetings as necessary. About you: • Demonstrable experience in Business Development in upstream Oil and Gas and Energy Transition markets • Degree qualified in engineering and/or business administration. • You will have the ability to mobilise a network of business and procurement contacts in the target markets. • You will be a natural communicator with the ability to collaborate and influence other at all levels and will exhibit a can do and determined attitude. • Strong IT skills with CRM experience and full MS suite, ideally with Power BI expertise as well. • Strong presentation skills, both written and verbal • You will possess a strong work ethic and a desire to contribute your ideas and initiatives to the wider business. This role requires the unfettered right to work in the UK.
